The evolution of the world of memories according to the CEO of SK HYNIX

In the opening speech of the symposium held on March 22, 2021 at the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) the CEO of South Korea SK Hynix, Seok-Hee Lee, illustrated his vision on technological evolution in the fields of DRAM and NAND. Within Drams extreme ultraviolet (EUV) technology will allow processes of less than 10 nanometers, and we will have NAND memories of over 600 layers (layers) of cells. It also assumes the convergence between memory and logic, with some computing functions that will pass from the CPU to the DRAM.
